I bought this guitar used, around 1987 in Washinton, at the guitar store on Connecticut Ave. near 19th and K Streets. What a sweet tone it has. It became my go-to acoustic guitar and stayed that way for many years.
I am ashamed to say I did grat harm to this guitar when I attempted to improve the action by tightening the truss rod. I went too tight and cracked the neck! I took it to two different luthiers hoping it could be fixed. I learned that the cost to do so would be exorbitant so now the guitar serves as a favorite object d’art decorating my studio wall.
